Erik is an accomplished writer, poet, and digital artist. He serves as the President of Gamut Literary Series at University of Washington Bothell, Chairperson of the Horror Writers Association Seattle Chapter, and is the Digital Media tutor for the entire UW Bothell campus.

Erik hosts Fall Convergence at Vermillion Seattle on September 26th 2025, with over 50 attendees.Pictures from various events with HWA Seattle. Erik is often dressed up to make these events more fun.Erik hosted the first Graduate-Led Occupational Workshop with Gamut Literary SeriesErik scheduled and was on a panel with Pacific Northwest Writers Association on horror tropes, one of 6 panels Erik was on in 2025.With the HWA and Kirkland Arts Center, Erik hosted a reading series called Seasons of Horror as his character Bonesly BookwormIn September, Erik hosted a “30 Surreal Days” writing challenge where he posted at least one poem a day. A production of Erik’s play Der Ziegenmann, a story of Krampus performed by Victorian horror troupe PhantasmagoriaErik won the 2025 Crypticon writing contest with his story (Traffic) Circles.
